Dubai Exiles’ Director of Rugby, Jacques Benade, led the session
After Fridays’ incredibly busy, and hugely successful, first day of the 2021-22 rugby season, Saturday saw the Dubai Exiles coaches spend a morning in the Dubai sunshine. With the Emirates Dubai Sevens Stadium under construction for the December tournament in the background, Director of Rugby, Jacques Benade, orchestrated proceedings for what turned out to be an incredibly valuable and enjoyable morning.
All of the contact rugby age-groups’ (Under 9 and upwards) coaches were on the immaculate Pitch 7 playing surface from 7.30am until finishing for a well earned buffet lunch on the Exiles’ Clubhouse. A huge thank you to the Dubai Exiles Under 14s for also giving up their Saturday morning and helping out by allowing themselves to be the demonstration guinea pigs for the morning sessions.
The morning was rounded off in the Exiles‘ Clubhouse with a buffet lunch and some very welcome refreshments for everybody who came along. We’ll be doing the same in the very near future for our mini rugby coaches, Under 5, Under 6, Under 7 and Under 8.
It’s extremely important to everybody at Dubai Exiles RFC that the club’s members, across all of the age-groups, boys and girls, get every opportunity to be the best that they can be as they progress on their rugby journey.
