The UAE RUGBY Under 18 Girls Sevens squad heads to Tashkent in Uzbekistan today as international competitive rugby returns to the UAE with the Asia Rugby #aru18girls competition.
Teams from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, and of course the United Arab Emirates will be looking to head home from the tournament with more ‘W’ in the important column than anybody else!
The tournament is over two days, the 18th and 19th of September consisting of a round of pool matches, 3rd and 4th place play off, and then the final between the two best ranked teams.
Six young ladies of Dubai Exiles RFC are making the trip to Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. Jodie Qursha, Tara Aksoy, Lara Botha, Megan Theocharis, Femke Soens, and Nicole Brits will be ready to proudly represent their adopted home on the international stage.
