Fijian tighthead prop, Jone Bola, has joined Dubai Exiles RFC from the Dubai Tigers for the upcoming 2024-25 UAE rugby season.
Jone, who hails from Suva in Fiji, was a student at Queen Victoria High School. It was during his time at Queen Victoria that he actively invested himself into the great game of rugby.
A Senior Associate at Deloitte, Jone was a member of the 2015 Fiji Under 20 squad that competed in the Junior Rugby World Cup Trophy that was held that year in Portugal.
Before his move to Dubai, and Deloitte, he played Fijian provincial rugby for Lautoka, the Maroons.
Since joining the Dubai Exiles during the summer transfer window, Jone has been a regular feature on Pitch 7 at The Sevens Stadium on a Saturday morning helping to coach the Exiles Under 9s alongside fellow compatriot Epeli Davetawalu.
He is a huge fan of Game of Thrones and models his playing style on everybody’s favourite ‘Mr Nice Guy’, Sandor ‘The Hound’ Clegane. Well, after all, winter is coming…
Welcome to the Exiles Jone!
