It’s going to be a great day of rugby with Dubai Exiles RFC at The Sevens Stadium this Friday!
Dubai Exiles RFC‘s Mini & Youth will be busy training in the morning with some competitive matches also being played in some of the age-groups.
In the afternoon it’s two of the biggest games of the season. The Exiles’ RFC Division 1 side going head to head with the noisy neighbours, the Dubai Hurricanes, kick-off t 4pm. Followed by our Premiership side locking horns with the same opposition at 6pm.
Dubai Exiles RFC have enjoyed a 100% start to this season’s UAE Premiership. Wins over Dubai Tigers RFC, Abu Dhabi Harlequins, Jebel Ali Dragons RFC and will be looking to keep the ‘W’s appearing in the all-important column.
Dubai Hurricanes have yet to post a win, losing to Abu Dhabi Harlequins in their opening match and going down 33 – 12 to a ‘new look’ Dubai Tigers outfit at the weekend. The ‘Canes will certainly be going all-out for their first ‘W’ this weekend.
It doesn’t stop there. Straight after the Dubai Exiles v Hurricanes Premiership match, you can enjoy UAE v Russia at The Sevens Stadium and lend your support to Exiles’ Jaen Botes, Carel Thomas, Peli N Vina Qativi, and Robert Sproul as they pull on the UAE shirt in a Sevens warm up for the World Cup Qualifiers later this month.
Our good friends at Harlequin Furniture will be bringing in their outdoor furniture on Thursday afternoon to make the Exiles’ Clubhouse galleries all comfortable for the BIG day of rugby.
There’ll be meal deals, drinks packages and a whole lot of rugby fun in the The Sevens Stadium sun… We’ll share more details throughout the week!
