Dubai Exiles Touch Rugby & Vets Rugby Sign Up 2024-25 Season

You must have your own, appropriate, private healthcare insurance for you or your child(ren) to play rugby in the UAE and at Dubai Exiles Rugby Football Club.

The United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation (UAERF) also mandates that all rugby players from U9 upwards have insurance provided through the UAERF.

This ‘secondary’ policy is only intended to supplement your own private healthcare insurance where necessary. We have had to include the cost of this, mandated, supplementary, rugby insurance into our membership subscriptions. The rates built in are:

Please note that U5 - U8 rugby has no insurance requirement mandated by UAERF, neither is there an insurance requirement for touch rugby, netball, or cricket. Parents must therefore have appropriate private healthcare cover in place before allowing their child to engage in the activities on the rugby pitches, cricket ovals and netball courts.

Parents of players in these grades must select 'yes' for their child to be accepted into the club. NB The 'secondary' policy has an 'excess charge' of 10% of the total claim and / or a minimum 'excess charge' of AED 1,000.

Dubai Exiles RFC strictly adheres to the Personal Data Protection Law of the United Arab Emirates. However, we do need to share some of that data with the insurers who administer our secondary player accident policy. The data that will be shared is Name, Date of birth, Gender and Nationality.

All rugby players over the age of 9 are required to be registered with the United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation (UAERF). The data that will be shared to facilitate that registration is Name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Emirates ID Number and Email address of the parent / guardian.
