Former England 7s’ player Jordan Ainslie will take up the reins of coaching the Dubai Exiles Under 19 Girls for the 2023-24 UAE rugby season.
Jordan, a product of Warwick School, England, is an accomplished Sevens specialist with international pedigree.
He pulled on his first England shirt, aged just 19, at the inaugural Oktoberfest 7s at the Olympic Stadium in Munich in 2017. A tournament that featured teams such as Argentina, Australia, France, Fiji, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Jordan began his rugby journey as a junior at Old Leamingtonians RFC in Warwickshire. His talent was quickly identified by then Gallagher Premiership Worcester Warriors who he represented in both 15s and Premiership Rugby 7s.

Like many of the players in the UAE Premiership, ‘life’ brought Jordan to Dubai in 2021 as part of the Emirates Dubai 7s Elite Performance Academy program. As part of that program Jordan coached young players from across the UAE alongside England’s Tom Mitchell and Dan Norton as well as France’s Jean-Baptiste Gobelet.
Jordan joined the Exiles in September 2021. He played his first UAE Premiership match against the Dragons at Jebel Ali Shooting Club, scoring a hat-trick of tries in an 8 – 55 win for the men in black.
An accomplished coach – Jordan has imparted his knowledge, experience, and know-how to aspiring rugby players at the Ultimate Rugby Sevens National Academy and with the UR7s Rangers.
Jordan will be joined by former Kenya 7s international, and Exiles stalwart, Brad Owako, as part of an all-international coaching team.
