It’s been quite a year for the Exiles’ powerful Fijian, Epeli Davetawalu.
Since his arrival at Dubai Exiles RFC Epeli has thrown himself into the club. He helps to coach the Exiles’ Minis on a Friday morning as well as being Head Coach of the Dubai Exiles Under 19 Girls – seven of whom recently helped the UAE win the Asia Rugby Under 18 Girls Tournament in Tashkent.
The unassuming and modest Fijian captained the Dubai Exiles RFC’ Premiership side for the first time in their 91 – nil demolition of the Dubai Tigers RFC on Friday evening at The Sevens Stadium.
Epeli will also be travelling with Apollo Perelini and the UAE Men’s Sevens squad this week as International Tournament rugby returns to Asia Rugby.
