Dubai Exiles ‘Mini Rugby’ coach, Phillip Le Roux (Philly) has said goodbye to Dubai Exiles RFC to take up a new role as assistant coach to Dubai Sharks RFC Senior Ladies.
The Covid hit 2020-21 season saw ‘Philly’ on the pitches at The Sevens on Friday mornings helping the club’s Under 5s, Under 6s, and Under 7s have a lot of fun as they were introduced into the game of rugby for the first time.
‘Philly’ liked to keep his boots laced up on Friday afternoons and made 3 appearances for the Exiles’ Super Twos in the Northern Emirates Division 1 last season.
A Level 1 qualified coach, ‘Philly’ will be looking to make an immediate impact on the Dubai Sharks Senior Ladies squad with the skills he’s honed helping out with the Dubai Exiles Minis during the 2020-21 season.
