It’s only 10 weeks until the start of the BIGGER & BETTER 2023-24 rugby season!
The coming season has been extended by a whole month with the UAE rugby Mini & Youth Finals scheduled to be played on the 27th of April. That’s an extra month of fun, games and fixtures with Dubai Exiles RFC at The Sevens Stadium.
It’s all go behind the scenes at the region’s oldest and most successful Club. Kit is ordered, pitches are booked, and we’re just about set to go on Saturday September 2nd.
2022-23 was a fantastic season for the Exiles with our Mini & Youth achieving remarkable success at the different tournaments held throughout the UAE and in the top levels of domestic competition:

Throughout the 2022-23 season twenty-six Exiles pulled on international #rugby shirts and represent the UAE on the international stage.

It didn’t stop there, at the end of last season eleven Exiles were selected to play for the UAE in two test matches next month in Lahore against Pakistan, taking the Club’s international tally up to 33 players, boys girls, men and women at Under 18, Under 20 and Senior levels.

In April our Under 13s travelled to Nairobi to make new friends and have a lot of fun playing in a friendly tournament organised by Kenya Harlequins Rugby Club. At the same time they delivered over 300 pairs of rugby boots; that were kindly donated by players and the mums and dads of Dubai Exiles RFC; to young #rugbyplayers from the many clubs in and around Nairobi.

In Senior Rugby the Exiles men’s team fought their way to the UAE Premiership title with a battling 22 – 29 win over the Tigers at Al Ain Amblers Rugby Football Club. The Dubai Exiles women’s team finished the season by putting the Bowl in the clubhouse trophy cabinet after an incredibly exciting season of UAE Women’s Series Rugby!
