Registration for the 2024-25 UAE rugby season is now open!
We’ll be back on those lovely, green, and world-class rugby pitches, at The Sevens Stadium on the morning of Saturday August 31st.
It’s been all go behind the scenes at Dubai Exiles RFC, the UAE and Gulf region’s oldest and most successful rugby club. Playing kit is ordered, pitches are booked, and we’re all set to get the 2024-25 season underway!
2023-24 was another fantastic year for both Dubai Exiles RFC and for UAE rugby. Many Exiles once again represented the UAE on the international rugby stage, boys and girls, men and women.
The UAE finished as runners-up in their first outing in this year’s elite Asia Rugby Championship after wins against the Republic of Korea and Malaysia last month.
Eleven Exiles players were selected to pull on the national shirt for the UAE’s Asia Rugby Championship campaign. Exiles and UAE Head Coach, Jacques Benade, orchestrated things along with Exiles’ Director of Rugby and UAE Coach, DuRandt Gerber, assisted by club doctor, Dr Vishnu ‘Doc’ Radhakrishnan.
The Exiles Under 14s made their now annual trip to Nairobi to make new friends, visit old ones, and play in another friendly tournament organised by the good people at Kenya Harlequins Rugby Club.
REGISTRATION FOR 2024-25 IS NOW OPEN!
- Mini Rugby – U5, U6, U7, & U8 (Boys and Girls) starts on Saturday August 31st at 8:00 am
- Midi Rugby – U9, U10, U11, & U12 (Boys and Girls) starts on Saturday August 31st at 8:00 am
- Youth Rugby – U13, U14, & U16 starts on Saturday August 31st at 9:30 am
- Girls Rugby – U12, U14, U15, & U18 starts on Saturday August 31st at 9:30 am
- Under 18 Boys Rugby – The Under 18 Boys will train with the senior men’s squad on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on Tuesday September 3rd at 7:30 pm
- Women’s Rugby – Women’s Rugby will start on Thursday September 5th at 7:30 pm
- Men’s Rugby – Men’s rugby will start at on Tuesday September 3rd at 7:30 pm
- Touch Rugby – Mixed touch rugby, men and women, starts on Thursday September 5th at 7:30 pm.
