It’s not just about the rugby! We want Dubai Exiles RFC‘s mini rugby players, girls and boys, to have an awful lot of fun playing all sorts of different and exciting rugby based games!
Games that help to build confidence, to become familiar with holding a rugby ball, enjoy playing with other children and help develop a love of the game of rugby.
Our fun sessions and games contain a focus on developing evasive running skills with the rugby ball in two hands and learning how to pass to a teammate.
Allison is an Early Years and Primary School Inclusion Teacher. English by birth, but grew up in Hong Kong and Kenya before coming to Dubai in 1996.
Kenyan, Brad, is a former Kenya Sevens International and a current Exiles Premiership player. Brad works in Dubai as a Teaching Assistant.
Many of our Mini Rugby coaches are experienced Primary School Teachers who are also massive rugby enthusiasts. They excite, encourage, coach, and nurture our mini rugby players with the help and input of current Exiles UAE Premiership and International senior players.
We’re very well versed in how to effectively communicate and ensure these possible Rugby Stars of the future have a fantastic time being safely introduced to this wonderful game.
Exiles’ mini rugby is for boys and girls aged from Under 5 to Under 8. Under 5, Under 6 and Under 7 get to have a lot of fun on the rugby pitches at The Sevens on a Friday morning from 8am. The Under 8 group, still ‘minis’, enjoy playing tag and quick-rip rugby, also from 8am.
Registration for the 2021-22 season is now open – we get going on Friday 3rd September!
