UAE Rugby Head Coach, Apollo Perelini, named his Under 18 Girls Sevens Squad last night and it was good news for the young ladies of Dubai Exiles RFC.

There is absolutely no doubt that UAE Rugby will have an awful lot of talent at its disposal from the Dubai Exiles Girls when international rugby tournaments restart after the cessation of competitions due to Covid 19.

Dubai Exiles Under 19 Girls Head Coach, Epeli Davetawalu.
The Head Coach of Dubai Exiles Under 19 Girls, Epeli Davetawalu, is also a UAE International. Epeli has represented the UAE in both 15-a-Side and 7-a-Side rugby, and was recently selected once again to represent the UAE on the International stage.
The Fijian powerhouse joined the Exiles at the end of the 2019-20 season, moving from Abu Dhabi Harlequins. He is a current Exiles‘ Premiership player, a UAE International, and since his arrival at The Sevens‘ based Exiles he’s enthusiastically got involved with imparting his knowledge and experience to the Exiles‘ girls as well as the Under 5s and Under 6s of the club’s mini rugby on a Friday morning.

Lindsay Wakefield is the Exiles Under 19 Girls‘ Team Manager. He has been steadfast in his commitment to the Dubai Exiles Under 19 Girls and incredibly passionate about the promotion of girls’ rugby in Dubai and the UAE.
