The Exiles benefited from their trip to The Amblers (Al Ain RFC) for their only preseason friendly. With many new players in this season’s squad it was a chance to try out some combinations and have a look at some of the new faces.
After what started out as an intense arm wrestle between the two packs, the Exiles hit their stride and started to find space all over the pitch. Meyrick Gibhard welcomed himself to The Exiles with a hat trick or tries on debut and some fine performances from James Crossley, Essome Josue and Jaen Botes saw The Exiles comfortably across the finish line.
