The first UAE Women’s 7s Series round of 2023 was held at Sharjah Wanderers RFC on Saturday afternoon.
Both rugby pitches were put to full use as ladies from Al Maha, Sharks, Abu Dhabi Harlequins, Hurricanes, Falcons, Exiles and of course Sharjah Wanderers battled it out over the course of the afternoon.

When the sun set and the dust settled, the Dubai Exiles ladies had earned themselves a place in the 3rd / 4th play-off match against Abu Dhabi Harlequins on pitch 1.

An enthralling match ensued with the Exiles ladies somehow finding the energy to get over the line with a 14 – 12 win with the very last kick of the game!
Well done ladies – it was a hugely entertaining and great afternoon of women’s rugby.
