This season The Exiles ‘Super 2s’ will benefit from the coaching experience of Emil Seyfferdt. Emil brings vast rugby experience to the senior side and has been a significant figure in Gulf Rugby for many years.
Emil played for the Free State Cheetah’s in his early career and has also competed in many significant sevens competitions around the globe. These include the Dubai 7s, Air France 7s and the Hong Kong 7s.
Emil’s coaching experience began in China at the Beijing Agricultural University when the university supplied the lion’s share of the Chinese National Side. He was also Head Coach of the Dubai Hurricanes senior side when they won the league in 2013/14.
Having recently coached at Dubai Warriors, helping to organise their u16s back-line, Emil is returning to the Exiles, the club he played for back in 1997/98.
