The current UAE Premiership Champions, the Dragons, will visit the The Sevens Stadium on Saturday 21st September for what has become an annual warm-up fixture with the Exiles in preparation for the West Asia and UAE rugby season.
There’ll be a lot of new and a lot of old faces in the Dubai Exiles‘ line-up for the match with the visitors.
It hasn’t been much of a summer break for the Exiles‘ players with many of them having been on international duty in the summer, representing the UAE against Hong Kong China, the Republic of Korea, and Malaysia.
The pre-season ‘hit out’ against the Dragons will be a first opportunity for some of the younger players, who’ve come through the Exiles‘ Mini & Youth pathway, to have their first experience of Premiership rugby.
We’re sure that Dubai Exiles‘ Head Coach, Jacques Benade, will be watching with a keen eye and taking plenty of notes!
As always the Exiles‘ Clubhouse and bar will be open for the game!
