Continuing the ‘Meet the Exiles’ Coaches‘ theme today we introduce you to Exiles’ Under 8 Head Coach, Brad Owako.
Brad is incredibly busy at Dubai Exiles RFC, not only is he an important cog in the Exiles’ Premiership rugby side, he also take the lead role in coaching the club’s Under 8 minis, gives guidance to the Exiles’ Under 19 Girls as well as helping to coach the Exiles’ women’s team.

Brad exploded onto the UAE rugby scene with the Dubai Exiles during the 2020-21 season. He is a former Kenya Sevens international who has played professional rugby in Spain after gaining a hard running reputation at Mwamba Rugby Club in Nairobi.
Brad has a reputation as a powerful and hard running centre
Brad‘s a great asset to the club. He’s on the pitches at the Sevens Stadium every Saturday morning coaching the Exiles Under 8s and also helped to coach our Under 19 Girls to the Emirates Dubai 7s Gulf Under 19 Girls title in December alongside Fijian Epeli Davetawalu.
Brad‘s easy going and relaxed coaching style makes him extremely popular with the mums and dads of Dubai Exiles RFC as he imparts his knowledge and encourages the Exiles’ Under 8 rugby players.
